I Really Don’t Know Much About Cars.

Autos No Comments »

I am really clueless when it comes to cars so when my brother came up to me last week asking me if I wanted my car converted to H20 I looked at him like he was from Mars. He said he wanted to give my car fuel cell a makeover so my car would not only run on gas it would run on water too. He said it would save me time and money because I wouldn’t be going to the gas station as much and it would also be helping the environment because the water helps your car burn a lot cleaner.

For Good Advice, Listen To Your Father.

Business No Comments »

My father was a walking encyclopedia of advice.

He had advice on how to grow the greenest grass on the block; not to mention, tips on whipping up a great pot of chili.

I listened to my father quite often. I respected a lot of what he said. He was successful in a lot of things. But nowhere was he more successful than in real estate.

He had a knack for making the right deal at the right time.

This is why when I wanted to try my hand at it, I asked him for the best real estate investing advice he could give me.

Good thing I did because his advice made me money the very first deal.

iPhone Developer Steve Demeter Made $250K From Apps

Technology No Comments »

Steve Demeter, a developed. The developer that created the iPhone puzzle game “Trism” as a side project, but now he’s quitting his normal 9-5. Why you ask? Because he says he’s generated $250,000 in profits since he started selling the $4.99 game on iTunes this recent summer. That’s after Apple (AAPL) has taken its ridiculous 30% cut of total sales, and after subtracting his initial investment of about $5,000.  iPhone 3G Car Charger says so while we’ve heard plenty of griping from developers who complain about Apple’s restrictive grip on its store, you’re certainly not going to hear Steve joining that chorus. In fact, he says, he’s so pleased with Apple, that he’s going to work exclusively with them, and will pass on the chance to work on other platforms, like Google’s Android.

Why did he cut himself off from other markets? In part, because he’s doing just fine with Apple. But Steve also says that Google’s strategy of distributing its OS to multiple manufacturers who will create multiple handset models will actually cause him more headaches than its worth.

“Do I want to be spending 6 months to write the game, and another 6 months making it compatible? If I had Trism available for Android, and there are 50 Android devices and every time one of them crashes (the users) contact me, do I want that?”

Get Higher Loan Amounts and Lower Interest Rates with Collateral Personal Loans

Miscellaneous No Comments »

Taking out a collateral personal loan means setting aside your property to act as security for the loan. These types of personal loans are useful when it comes to satisfying your financial needs. For instance, you can put up your home that has adequate equity as a guarantee to be able to secure a collateral personal loan. The ownership papers for this property then go into the possession of the bank or lending company until your personal loan is paid in full. This is for the security of the lender to guarantee that you are able to make timely payments on your loan until you have completed all the amortizations. When you have paid up your personal loan completely, you get the papers for your property back.

Ceiling Fans - A Money Saving Way To Cool Your Home

Business No Comments »

Hunter Douglas Ceiling Fan first originated in hot, tropical countries with somewhat poor economies.  While more wealthy countries have removed ceiling fans with the advent of air conditioning, the ceiling fan of yesteryear is making an important comeback.  This is no doubt due to the continuing escalating cost of utilities and the expense of maintaining a full house air conditioning system.  People are finally understanding that comfort doesn’t need to mean cold and in the process they’re able to save significantly on the monthly electric bills.  How much savings of course depends on local utility cost and  the amount of time an air conditioning system is in operation.  Typically though, a 2-3 dollar per DAY savings is not unreasonable if a…
