The focal point of the entire Rockefeller center complex is the  Ge Buildings . It is an elegant narrow shaft when looking from the fifth avenue and forms an enormous slab from the sixth avenue. The lobby’s rich materials and enhanced ornamental scheme are enhanced by dramatic lightning. The ge buildings is commonly known as the slab or the 30 rock. Landmark status was awarded to this building in the year 1985. The height of this building is 850 ft with 69 floors. It has an observation deck at the top of the building which gives the bird’s eye view of the entire New York City.
