My job never felt right for me.  I  was told by a number of personality tests that I was a born salesman, but no matter how hard I tried, I could not get into making sales calls.  I finally found something that made sense in the world of marketing.  It was an affiliate marketing opportunity, though a company that my cousin worked for during the last few years.  Affiliate marketing uses referrals and sales to various websites to give commision based salaries to those that do the marketing work.  This work has come easily to me, and I feel very fulfilled in my job.
