We now have a means to pass our own bills by consensus vote and collectively take the place of the House of Representatives. Obviously, the people shouldn’t have absolute power to pass laws; we don’t want the tyranny of the majority. (Remember, it was a simple majority that had Socrates put to death.) So why not replace the House vote with a consensus vote and let the citizens decide whether or not to pass legislature on to the Senate? (I would preserve the Senate as-is because its membership is not proportional to population, for good reason. The House is based on population, so why not replace it with the population itself?)

My grandfather’s birthday is coming up and I wasn’t sure what to get him. In the past I had gotten him some fishing equipment. I have started trying to play golf with a group of friends, and they have informed me that my swing is just atrocious and that is why I am doing so badly at the game. Have you ever done any of the workout routines that are online? I didn’t even think of them being online. I wonder if it is an online video or just printed routines that you follow? I think the video idea would be nice, although I am not sure it would be a good idea. How would you be able to see a video on a small fifteen inch screen and follow it? I don’t currently have a daily exercise workout, but I am going to physical therapy to strengthen my right knee, as I had knee replacement surgery about three months ago. It would be difficult for me to do the routine effectively right now.
