After the birth of my second child, I was looking for a way to lose the baby weight.  I needed a diet that was safe, effective, and easy to follow.  Using diet pills was not an option because I breast fed my baby.  I had a discussion with my doctor and she suggested I follow ten simple tips on how to lose nine pounds.  She said if I followed these guidelines I would lose weight and have more energy.  Lose weight gradually.  Set realistic goals.  Maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Don’t weigh yourself everyday.  Eat slowly.  Eat small portions.  Remember fat-free does not mean calorie-free.  Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.  Diet with a buddy.  Stay motivated by rewarding yourself when you reach your goal.  This plan worked and by the time my baby was six months old I was back to my pre-baby weight.
