A simple way to potty train a toddler is to pretend that you’re going to the potty yourself.  Kids are naturally inquisitive.  They tend to learn through vicarious experience, and they tend to repeat what they have observed until they instill it in their everyday behavior. This would be your window of opportunity to introduce potty training to your kid.  If you act like you are going to the toilet in a natural way, your kid would not feel that potty training is compulsory, but rather a natural process that everyone has to go through. They will just simply follow your steps.
