The best thing that I ever did was to go out and buy myself a portable air conditioning unit last summer because it was getting to the point that I could not sit in my lounge due to the heat. There are many different models on the market but in the end I thought that a 9000 BTU Air Conditioner would probably do the best job, since it would be powerful enough to keep the heat at bay even when the temperatures rose above 70°F, which is about as hot as it gets around here. I have been very pleased with my purchase and I now think that I will buy another one for the bedroom.
