It may seem like a walk in the park but in order to play successfully it is useful to be physically fit. Many players will do golf strength and conditioning workouts and the more serious you are about doing well at the game, the more attention you need to pay to doing this sort of thing. It may seem like a lot of hard work but it will improve your score and make you feel fitter as well as enjoy it more (you are bound to enjoy the game more if you win more often!) Once you have mastered the basics of the game then it can be worth speaking to other players about the workouts that they do and asking for help with setting one up for yourself.
