The Laptop That Wouldn’t Die
Technology January 29th. 2009, 11:31amMy husband was given his first Toshiba Laptop over 8 years ago from the company he worked for and it is the laptop that wouldn’t die. At that time it was the fastest and most fully featured laptop you could buy at that time. The company paid extra for the largest hard drive and RAM they could buy. When the company wanted to upgrade to newer laptops that were not toshiba laptop computers my husband refused the upgrade. His laptop even though it was 4 years old at that time was still better than the new computers the company was offering. Since then the company was bought out by another who allowed him to keep it as his own personal computer but made him take their new laptop for work. He still uses that 8 year old Toshiba and it is as fast today as it was when he got it.
