I recently saw a movie which showed a handsome couple exiting a limousine while a pretty girl in a chauffeur’s uniform opened their door.

A friend mentioned that his was silly since driving jobs are for men.  I disagreed, mostly because I have known so many women who make a very good living with cdl driving jobs.

A CDL allows anyone to work as a professional driver, including chauffers, cab drivers, and truck drivers. 

While it is common to assume that those big semi-trucks on the road are men, some are women and even more are half of a married couple who drive for a living.

Cities are full of female cab drivers and there are women who own and operate person driving services. 

After educating my friend, he was very impressed with women’s expanding roles as professional drivers - as he should be.
