Bali Private Villa  set on 800 square metres of land on a quiet, tree-lined street two hundred metres from the beach. It has become a landmark in Sanur because of its bold yet harmonious design and unique entrance portico. The residence is laid out over four separate buildings providing accommodation for twelve guests in six bedrooms. All the bedrooms and communal areas are set back, away from the street, leaving the areas of relaxation in the villa peaceful throughout the day. The designers worked hard to incorporate many separate areas that feel secluded from each other while being integral to the villa’s design. Completed in the summer of 2005, the Balinese architect’s careful use of local materials help create a modern residence that is in harmony with its surroundings. Through careful use of space, colour and light the interior spaces change with the time of day until they settle into the glow from the hidden lights that warm the villa with their subtleness.
